and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Exodus 22:21-23 where God says, "Do not mistreat an alien or oppress him... Do not take advantage of a widow or an orphan. If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry," and this is what I heard Him say:
"I care about the mistreated person's pain! I lookout for the alien who is not a citizen where you live, the widow, and the orphan. I care about my creatures who hurt from injustice due to prejudice and circumstances. I hear their crying. Because I do, so should you. It's time for you to be a little less concerned about your own success and start paying a little more attention to the hurting around you. When you are in a position to take advantage of their poor condition—don’t do it. Instead, when you see the man or woman begging along the side of a road with a sign “Will work for food,” don’t close your calloused heart. You don’t know what mistreatment put them in that position. Open your heart. Help them. It may be that I will use your help to answer their cry when they call upon Me. You see, I care about the mistreated person’s pain!"
