and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Exodus 27:9. "Make a courtyard for the tabernacle.” And this is what I heard Him say:
“Come into My courtyard and sit a spell. You already know that a courtyard is an open area surrounded by walls with no roof. As such courtyards are meant to be inhabited. A courtyard is a place for meeting and enjoyment. In My house, the tabernacle, there is a courtyard. I invited Israel to come into it. To come in with sacrifices, offerings, praise, and worship. It was there that sacrifices would be made to deal with sins and transgressions, to make commitments, to restore fellowship with Me. Nothing has really changed. Today, your body is my sanctuary. Your gathering with other Christians at church is, in a sense, My courtyard. So, come into My courtyard with your brokenness, pain, and hurts. In My courtyard priests mediate the offerings, lead in praise and worship, and minister to the needs of My people. It is there that you will mingle with others who have come into My presence."
