and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Exodus 3:5 where God says, “the place where you are standing is holy ground.” and this is what I heard Him say:
“When you are in My presence you are on holy ground. It can be anywhere. Moses was a fugitive, far from civilization, all alone, going about the mundane routine of a modest shepherd’s life, so bored that he was distracted by a burning bush. But I was in that distraction. I was in that bush. I called out to Moses. I told him that because of My presence he was on holy ground. Any time you come into My presence, you are on holy ground—not just on Sunday in a building called ‘the sanctuary.’ Anyplace where I meet with you is holy ground. Your mundane routine work can be holy ground, just meet with Me there. When no one else is around, you can be on holy ground, just meet with Me. When life throws a distraction at you, it can be holy ground, just meet with Me there. So today, when you feel abandoned and far away and out of touch meets with Me. When you feel caught up in the mundane routine of life or when you find yourself bored and easily distracted, meet with Me. Because when you are in My presence you are on holy ground.
