and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Exodus 35:2 which says: “For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD.” And this is what I heard Him say:
“Both work and worship are in your best interest! Both are important to you. You were created to work and to worship. I created you in My image to be creative, to work, and to be productive. I also created you to commune with Me in worship. Your life will be extremely empty and purposeless without both and your life will be so much more enriched with both. You see, I expect you to work hard for six days. Your labor is to be done to glorify Me and not just done to please your boss. I also expect sincere worship in spirit and truth. To achieve such worship you must cease your exhausting labor so you can focus on Me. One day a week is what I have designed for your benefit. Here’s what you should try: work hard for six days and then refresh yourself with the worship of Me. Set the Lord’s Day aside for Me. Both work and worship are in your best interest.”
