and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Exodus 36:6-7 which says: “No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary." And so the people were restrained from bringing more, 7 because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work.” And this is what I heard Him say:
“I gave you more than enough so you could give Me more than enough. Surely, it was an awesome time. My people were so generous. They freely gave for the construction of the tabernacle. Every day the offerings kept coming in. So much so that I had to tell them to stop. I had enough. Likewise, I blessed them with more than enough so that they could generously give to Me. if I had not so generously given to them, they could not have given so generously to Me. Nothing has changed. I have given you far more than you deserve or need. Think about it. When you were so wayward and lost in your sin, I loved you and gave My Son to pay the debt of your sin. That was a debt that you could not pay. On top of that, I have given you everything you have. Do a quick inventory and you will see that I gave you more than enough so you can give Me more than enough.”
