and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Exodus 38:8 which says: “They made the bronze basin and its bronze stand from the mirrors of the women who served at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.” And this is what I heard Him say:
“Women have always served Me. Are you surprised? It seems like your generation thinks that women in the ministry are something new to them. But notice that the women in Moses’ times served at the entrance of the tabernacle. They served both the people and Me. They were not priests offering sacrifices, nor Kohathites maintaining the sanctuary. They were women serving others at the entrance. Notice also that they gave up their bronze polished mirrors to be melted down and formed into the bronze basin for spiritual cleansing and purity. You need to realize how big that was. They put My worship before themselves. The women used their hand-held bronze mirrors to see themselves, to put on makeup, to brush their hair, and the like. You see, they sacrificed their own beauty for the beauty of My house. What a sacrificial offering they made. I believe you can be so much like them. Don’t focus on the external beauty that fades, but rather focus on the beauty of the Lord and serve Me. Remember women have always served me!”
