Exodus 9

God spoke to me today from Exodus 9:2-3 where God said, “If you refuse to let them go and continue to hold them back, 3 the hand of the LORD will bring a terrible plague” and this is what I heard Him say:

My hand is mighty.  My mighty hand can be upon you with blessing or with curses.  It can be for you or it be against you.  It was only because of my mighty hand that Pharaoh would let My people go; because of my mighty hand that he would drive them out of his country (Ex 6:1). Pharaoh would find out that My mighty hand brings terrible plagues.  Ten in all.  Sometimes My mighty hand is the obstacle in your way too.  Everything goes awry.  The seemingly impossible happens against you.  It happens when you are obstinate, hard-hearted, disobedient, and you know it.  It is then that My mighty hand is against you.  The sad thing is that it doesn’t have to be that way.  Instead, you could be experiencing My good and gracious hand upon you with blessings.  Ezra and Nehemiah did.  (Ezra 7:9; 8:18; Neh 2:8,18).  Here’s the catch.   ‘If you refuse …’ to obey My will, My precepts, My commands—then My might hand brings curses.  But if you obey My will, My precepts, and My commands--then My gracious hand will bring blessings.  So today, keep in mind that My hand is mighty.”
