and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Genesis 18:15 where He says, "Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, ‘I did not laugh.’ But he said, ‘Yes, you did laugh.’" and this is what I heard Him say:
“Stop living in denial! I am the God of all truth. I cannot lie. So, what I say about you is true, though often painful, embarrassing, or guilt-tripping. For fear of being exposed you hide your own weaknesses. You minimize your own lies and at the same time magnify those of others. In fact, you hold others to higher accountability to yourself, than you hold yourself accountable to Me. You deny your wrongs, your addictions, your need for help, your bad relationships, your codependent condition, and more. You tend to cover up your own misdeeds and act as if no one knows. Even if you are successful in fooling everyone else and yourself too. I know the truth about you! It’s not that I’m waiting for you to mess up so I can zap you, so why the denial? You know I love you. I want to help you. I want to rescue you. I want to bless you today. So, today, get real with Me! Tell Me the truth. Stop living in denial!”
