Read Genesis 27

God spoke to me today from Genesis 27:41 where it says, "Esau held a grudge against Jacob because of the blessing his father had given him." and this is what I heard Him say:

“What grudge are you holding?  Who has so offended you that you don’t care to ever see him or her alive again?  A parent, a brother, a sister, a friend, a co-worker, a boss, a child—who?  Why?  What part of my divine providence, that controls EVERYTHING that happens to you, do you so disdain that you are holding a grudge? Esau had a grudge.  In My divine plan, he was to serve his brother.  That didn’t sit well with him.  So he was angry, jealous, revengeful, and holding on to a grudge.  He needed to let it go and accept My providential dealing.   So it is with you.  You too need to let the grudge go.  I planned your life before you were ever born. It includes every little single detail in your life.  Nothing escaped My plan.  Even that ‘wrong’ or ‘mistreatment’ that someone did to you that you hang on to as a grudge is in My plan.  My plan is to work even that wrong for good.  So what grudge are you hanging on to?  Just let it go.  Letting it go is simply forgiveness. Forgive as it was forgiven you.
