and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Genesis 31:3 where God said, "Go back to the land of your fathers and to your relatives, and I will be with you." and this is what I heard Him say:
“Sometimes you have to go back to get ahead. It’s true. Jacob had left the Promised Land for fear of Esau and I blessed him in spite of being out of the land. But now, to experience My blessing, he had to go back. He had to return to the Promised Land. That’s how it is with you as well. Sometimes, for whatever reason, you leave the land of my promised blessing. You drop out of church attendance, you neglect your Bible reading. You only pray in an emergency. You find other places to spend your money and forget supporting the Gospel ministry. In spite of that departure from the place where I want you, I have still blessed you. But there comes a time when enough is enough. There comes a time for you to come home. If you desire to receive My fullest blessing you will have to go back to get ahead. So today, take inventory. Look where you are and where you should be. Take heed, the fullest blessing is being where I want you to be.”
