and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Genesis 40:28 where God's Word says, "What is this that God has done to us?" and this is what I heard Him say:
"I wish that you would thank Me for the good as much as you blame Me for the bad! So often you are just like Joseph's brothers. They had a guilty conscience for having sold their brother, Joseph, to slave traders and concocted a lie to cover for it. Their guilty conscience plagued them always for that wrongful deed. You know how it is. You know what haunts you right now. So every time things go wrong—your guilty conscience kicks-in to convict you. Instead of confessing and experiencing My forgiveness, you rationalize your wrong or accuse Me of bringing judgment upon you. Now it is true that I gave you your conscience, so ultimately you might say its My fault. But without your conscience, you would be the most hardened, cold-blooded, evil, unrepentant sinner. Instead of blaming Me for your guilty conscience, you should be thanking Me. So today, when that conscience, that I have given you, convicts you of the wrong that you have done, don’t blame Me. Instead, thank me for your conscience and confess the wrong to Me so I may forgive you and clear your conscience.
