and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Genesis 47:9 where Jacob says, “The years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty. My years have been few and difficult” and this is what I heard Him say:
“Whoever said ‘Life will be easy.’ lied to you! You live in a sinned cursed world. Even if your days are doubled, like Jacob, they will not be easy. Sin is to blame. Still, when you have a bad day, you tend to blame me. But I created you to bless you not to harm you. The difficulty lies in the fact that I am holy and that there are always consequences for rebellion against me. In the beginning, when your father, Adam, rebelled against Me, the whole human race rebelled in him. The downside of that is that all are born rebellious and full of trouble. The upside is that all in Jesus Christ are pardoned of the rebellion. The one rebellious act of Adam brought difficulty and the one righteous act of Jesus Christ brings righteousness. Still, the fact is, you live in a sin-cursed world where people are rebels against Me and that brings consequences and difficulty. So, whoever said, ‘Life will be easy.’ lied to you!” It was difficult for Jacob and it will be for you. Today remember that your life is short and then be assured that once your life is over and you are with me in heavenly perfection—there will no longer be any difficulties.
