and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Leviticus 17:11 which says: "For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life." And this is what I heard Him say to me:
“There is wonder-working power in the blood! The life of every creature is in the blood. Your blood represents your life. For without your blood you are dead. So, I have assigned the blood to make atonement for your life. By atonement, I mean covering up your sinful mistakes. It is by substitution. The sacrificial victim’s life was taken away and its blood sprinkled to cover up your sin. That’s how it was in Moses’ day. Today the blood of the sacrifice is far superior because It is not the blood of bulls and goats, but the blood of My Son, Jesus. His life for your life. His blood for your blood. His blood did more than cover your sins, His blood takes away your sins and cleanses you. My prophet Isaiah said for me, ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. (Isaiah 1:18-19) The cleansing power of My Son’s blood is infinitely great. No matter how great your sin, My Son’s blood can remove it and wash you clean. That’s why I say, ‘There is wonder-working power in the blood.’”
