and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Leviticus 20:2,9,10,11,12,13,15,16, & 27 which says: "must be put to death.” And this is what I heard Him say to me:
“The price of sin is death! Did you notice that nine times in this passage I have said ‘must be put to death.’ There are consequences for child abuse and for tolerating it, for consulting mediums, for cursing parents, for committing adultery, for homosexuality, for bestiality, and for any violation of My commandments. The consequence is that a person violating my commandments ‘must be put to death!’ The same standard is found in the New Testament as well, ‘The wages of sin is death’ (Romans 6:23). I know that you are thinking that if that is My standard, then everyone is doomed. You’re right. ‘All have sinned’ and ‘ the wages of sin is death’ (Romans 3:23 7 6:23). But where sin abounds, My grace super-abounds. You see My free gift is ‘eternal life in Jesus Christ’ (Romans 6:23). He was cut off, put to death for you. He took your place so you might receive all the benefits of My Son’s salvation. When you call on My Son, Jesus, to save you through confession and faith (Romans 10:9,10), ‘the price of sin which is death’ has been paid for you. You are forgiven and have eternal life in Christ.”
