and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Leviticus 24:2 which says: "Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning continually.” And this is what I heard Him say to me:
“Be sure your light shines continuously! Before my throne in the Tabernacle, just on the other side of the dividing curtain, there stood the lampstand with seven lamps on it. The job of all Israel was to provide the oil. The job of the priest was to replenish it and trim the wicks. Why? So, it continuously provided light in the Tabernacle. Because the tabernacle was constructed with multilayered tent-coverings it was dark in My sanctuary. The lamp was the light of the sanctuary. Likewise, you live in a dark world too. So, I sent My Son, Jesus, the light of the world to dispel your darkness (John 9;5). Now that Jesus has returned to heaven, and is seated at my right hand, you are the light of the world in His place. It is your mission, today, to let your light shine among men so that the darkness in their lives is dispelled (Matthew 5:14-16). So, today, be sure your light shines continuously!"
