and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Leviticus 7:11-12 which says: "These are the regulations for the fellowship offering a person may present to the LORD: 12 " 'If he offers it as an expression of thankfulness …" And this is what I heard Him say:
“Giving thanks is a part of genuine fellowship!” That’s why My fellowship offerings fall into three categories: thank offerings, vow offerings, freewill offerings. Think about it, people who are in fellowship with Me are thankful people who have honored their vows and commitments to Me and freely give of themselves to Me. Fellowship happens when we have nothing between us. That’s why the sacrifices are so important. Not just in Moses’s Day, but your day too. You see, if you walk in the light, as Jesus is in the light, you have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies you from all sin (1John 1:7). When you realize how the blood of My Son washed away all your sins, how can you not be anything but thankful, strive to be committed, and give back freely from your heart? That’s why “giving thanks is a part of genuine fellowship.”
