and this is what I heard Him say:
God spoke to me today from Numbers 1:2 which says: "Take a census of the whole Israelite community” and this is what I heard Him say to me:
“Numbers count! You see, I promised to Abraham that I would bless him and make his descendants into a great nation as numerous as the stars (Gen 12:2; 15:5). Think of it, at the time that I made that promise to Abraham, his wife, Sarah, was barren. So, to make the point I required a census. Turns out they grew from zero descendants to 603,550 military-aged male descendants (besides all the rest of the people--Numbers 1:46). That’s why numbers count. So you can see that I keep My promises. Today, I want you to remember that numbers count, and even more than that, remember that I will keep my promises to you as well. You can count on it. I have promised to bless you with My love, My joy, My protection, My presence, My salvation and so much more. So, today, when you start to get discouraged or depressed, just start counting all the promises that I have kept. When you do, you will find that numbers count!”
